If you have one of these Brother printers: HL-L2300D, HL-L2320D, HL-L2340DW, HL-L2360DN, HL-L2360DW, HL-L2365DW, HL-L2380DW, DCP-L2500D, DCP-L2520DW, DCP-L2540DN, DCP-L2540DW, MFC-L2700DW, MFC-L2720DW, MFC-L2740DW then you need to use the TN660 toner in your printer. We recommend the TN660 because it is a high yield cartridge and has a page yield 2,600 pages. The TN630 also fits in these Brother printers, but is a low yield cartridge with a page yield of 1,200. Brother uses different numbers, but it’s the same as HP using A or X at the end of the toner cartridge code.
The Brother printers have a separate drum unit . If your printer uses the TN660 toner cartridge, you’ll need the DR630 drum unit. The DR630 has a page yield of 12,000 pages, which is higher than either low or high page yield toner cartridges. So you don’t have to change your drum unit every time you change your toner.
