If you have one of these HP printers: Colour LaserJet Enterprise M455dn, Colour LaserJet Enterprise MFP M480f, Colour LaserJet Pro M454dn, M454dw, Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw, M479fdn, M479fdw, we recommend the W2020X (or 414X) series of cartridges because they are high yield cartridges. The black (W2020X) cartridge has a page yield of 7,500 pages, and each of the colour cartridges (W2021X, W2022X, W2023X) have page yields of 6,000 pages.
The W2020A (or 414A) series of cartridges also fits in the Colour LaserJet Enterprise M455dn, Colour LaserJet Enterprise MFP M480f, Colour LaserJet Pro M454dn, M454dw, Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw, M479fdn, M479fdw printers, but they are low yield cartridges with a page yield of 2,400 pages for the black cartridge (W2020A), and 2,100 for each of the colour cartridges (W2021A, W2022A, W2023A).
Of course, the W2020X (or 414X) cartridges are more expensive than the W2020A (or 414A), but in the long run, it’s your better deal. Your cost per page will be lower. And since toner is a powder, it has a long shelf life. Even if you don’t print a lot, it won’t dry up or go bad.
